Hsi Lai Temple is a Buddhist Temple located in Southern California, this project aims to rebrand the temple to give it face it, aiming to welcome younger generations. The project also uses many Buddhist ideology for its posters, icons, and booklets, although the Icon is a new revision of what the ideology could mean, it is by no way shape nor form trying to divert from it.
These symbols were created with Buddhism values in mind, each resembles different stages of life according to Buddha.
Using phrases and questions used in Buddhist teaching, along with either sutras or images of birds, to give the viewers a sense of freedom.
For the temple's administrator to use, it has to be minimal yet memorable for the end user
